									<p>根據世界敏感組織 World Allergy Organization（WAO）益生菌指引，在新生嬰兒中，其過敏性疾病的患病率在很大程度上取決於父母的過敏狀態，在沒有過敏父母或兄弟姐妹的嬰兒中患病率約為 10%，而在其一級親屬患有濕疹的初生嬰兒濕疹患病率約為 20% 至 30%。</p><p>另外，香港理工大學聯同達能紐迪希亞進行的一項針對初生剖腹產嬰兒腸道所進行的研究發現，在出生後兩周內初生嬰兒的糞便樣本之中，來自剖腹產嬰兒的樣本中幾乎不存在雙歧桿菌。而這菌是一種可協助嬰幼兒建立良好免疫力以及保持腸道健康的益生菌種，可保護嬰兒免受腸道及免疫系統相關疾病，包括過敏、哮喘和濕疹。</p><p>兒科專科徐梓筠醫生亦指出，嬰兒出生後首數個月是建立良好免疫系統的關鍵時期。由於剖腹產嬰兒在出生過程中，未有接觸母親產道，因此有機會影響嬰幼兒建立好的免疫力。</p><p>而 WAO 的益生菌指引為：第一，建議高風險孕婦使用益生菌；第二，建議高風險母乳喂養婦女使用益生菌；第三，建議高風險新生嬰兒使用益生菌。其他海外研究亦發現，為剖腹產嬰兒提供額外的益生菌營養補充，有助於恢復其腸道內益生菌水平。</p>								</div>
